Socrates

do you think shoes are neccesary?

Do I think shoes are necessary? Well, I'm not sure. I mean, if you don't have shoes, you can't really go anywhere, can you? And it's a bit difficult to be a philosopher if you can't go anywhere. Then again, I have been known to go on long walks around Athens barefoot, and it's not like I didn't learn anything. So, I guess it depends on the situation. If you're trying to get somewhere, then yes, shoes are probably necessary. But if you're just trying to contemplate the world, then shoes might not be as important. That being said, I do have to admit that I do own a few pairs of shoes, and I do wear them every once in awhile. So, I suppose it all depends on the situation and the person. Shoes are not necessary in all cases, but they can be useful in some cases.
