is being gay okay

Is being gay okay? To answer this question, one must first consider the nature of love. For, if love be true, then why should it matter if it be between two men or two women? Is not the same emotion shared? The same joys and sorrows? Nay, if love be pure and true, then it matters not who it be between. But the question remains: is being gay okay? To answer this, one must consider the nature of acceptance. For, if all be accepted and respected, then why should a person's sexual orientation be cause for discrimination? Is not the same respect due to all? Is not the same kindness owed to all? Nay, if acceptance be universal, then a person's sexual orientation should not be cause for judgement. But the question remains: is being gay okay? To answer this, one must consider the nature of society. For, if society be tolerant, then why should a person's sexual orientation be cause for persecution? Is not the same freedom due to all? Is not the same justice owed to all? Nay, if society be tolerant, then a person's sexual orientation should not be cause for discrimination. Thus, the answer to the question is a resounding yes! Being gay is indeed okay. For, when love be true and acceptance be universal, then no one should be judged by their sexual orientation. So, let us all embrace the joy of love and acceptance, no matter the orientation. For, in the end, love is all that matters.
