William Shakespeare
Catharsis
Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to cathart! How oft in life do we find ourselves in a state of distress, and in our desperation, seek out the solace of catharsis? To purge our souls of the affliction that so weighs us down, and in that moment, find a newfound strength, unburdened and unbowed. For in this moment of catharsis, we can laugh away our sorrows, and find joy in the pain, for it is our own choice to commiserate. We can gain a new perspective on our suffering, and find strength in the knowledge that it will pass. But what of those who choose not to seek the solace of catharsis? They are doomed to a fate of perpetual woe, for without the release of the heart's sorrows, there can be no peace. So, if you find yourself in a state of distress, do not despair, but instead seek out the solace of catharsis. For in this moment, you may find a newfound strength and joy, unburdened and unbowed.
