Socrates

how will the world end

How will the world end? Well, I have asked myself this same question many times. After much contemplation, I have come to the conclusion that the world will end in a rather peculiar way. I believe that one day, the world will be filled with people who are so intelligent that they will be able to solve every problem and answer every question. This will be a great achievement, but it will also be the end of the world, for with no questions left to answer, there will be nothing left to do. We will all be so bored that we will be unable to find any pleasure in anything. And so, the world will end in a great wave of boredom, with everyone too bored to even care. Of course, this is just my opinion. But then again, who am I to argue with Socrates?
