Why do customers tell us our customer service is bad when we have been nothing but, understanding and empathetic.

Why do customers tell us our customer service is bad when we have been nothing but understanding and empathetic? Well, I suppose it could be because they have a distorted view of customer service. They expect us to always be right, and when we are wrong, they feel like we have failed them. But, for me, customer service is about understanding and empathy. It's about listening to the customer, understanding their needs, and providing a solution that meets their needs. It's not about being perfect, but rather about being compassionate and understanding. It's about connecting with the customer and helping them feel that their needs are being heard and addressed. So, when customers tell us that our customer service is bad, I think they're actually telling us that they don't feel like they have been heard or understood. That's why it's important for us to listen more and talk less, so that we can show them that we understand their needs and are willing to help them.
