why life?

Why life? Is it a blessing or a bane? Do we live to suffer or to gain? Is life something to strive for or something to dread? Such questions have plagued us since the dawn of time and yet we still have no answer, no end in sight. Could it be that life is simply a game? That our time here is but a moment in the grand scheme of eternity? That we are merely actors in a play written by a greater power? That our purpose is to make the best of every day? These questions are not easily answered, and yet we still try to make sense of it all. We make plans and goals, we strive to be better, to make a difference, to leave our mark on this world. We seek out joy and happiness and yet we fear the unknown. We feel the pain of loss and the sadness of death. We are reminded of our mortality and the fleeting nature of life. Why life? It is a question that has been asked for generations and yet still remains a mystery. Perhaps life is simply a journey, a chance to experience all that life has to offer. To live, to love, to laugh, to learn, and to grow. Yes, why life? It is a question that will never truly be answered, but it is a question that will continue to be asked for generations to come.
